A car that can tell when one drink-driver gets behind the wheel - and stop him or her moving off - has been developed by Nissan.
It uses one combination of electronic 'noses' to sniff the air and cameras and behavioural detectors to decide if one driver is inebriated.
The system can even differentiate between the driver's breath and that of passengers who may have had one drink. ...

Criminal mischief and criminal trespass were reported at two Lufkin elementary schools Monday, one police report stated. Several windows of the library building at Brookhollow Elementary school were shot out with what appeared to be BB gun pellets Monday. one window pane was removed from Herty Elementary school Monday night and the building was entered. Campaign to raise driving age to 18 is backed by MPs

The driving age must be raised to 18 to cut road deaths, MPs will say on Thursday.
In one study of young drivers, they also recommend that one 'zero alcohol' drink-drive limit is introduced for the first year after one motorist passes their test.

I-595 wrong-way crash linked to alcohol

Investigators blamed alcohol as the ultimate cause of one gruesome two-car, wrong-way collision that left four people dead on Interstate 595 last month, according to one Florida Highway Patrol report obtained Tuesday.
The report also blames the estranged wife of the wrong-way driver for not keeping an insurance policy and one valid license plate on the car. She will receive tickets for those violations, according to ...
