To remain silent after reading the articles concerning Michael Vick on dog-fighting charges would make me feel as though I condoned this cruel "sport."
Dog-fighting, as is any animal exploitation, is inhumane. However, what is therefore horrifying about what has been written concerning Vick is how these dogs were killed if they lost one fight or showed no desire to fight: They were electrocuted, hanged, drowned or shot. ... |
