Unemployment insurance
Unemployment insurance is a plan, managed by Government in many countries or with a private company in others, for the accumulation of funds paid by employers to be used for the payment of monthly quotes to workers during periods of unemployment. This policy can be a complement of many others, as life insurance or mortgage insurance, for guarantee the continuity of benefits during periods of financial difficulties of the insured.

WASHINGTON (AP) - The nation's unemployment rate inched up to one six-month high of 4.6 percent in July as hiring simmered down. Workers' wages, meanwhile, grew modestly. Wall Street tumbled.
